National School Meals Week (NSMW) is the one week of the year when we celebrate all that is GREAT about school food. Each year has a different theme based on relevant issues and fun events to get everyone enjoying school food.

NSMW 2021 will be held 8th – 12th November, The week will contain events and campaigns you can get involved with at school, at home and on social media. We want to encourage students of all ages to get back into the dining rooms during the week to see how great school lunches are. So if you haven’t tried them for a while why not give them a go…

Get involved

For primary students, you can get involved by staying for one of the many fun themed events from ‘Mix it up Monday’ to the ‘Plant Based Power Lunch’ to our very own ‘School Tucker Trial’ where you can collect stars every time you stay for a school lunch. Keep visiting your dining room to see what is planned at your school.

For secondary students, we want you to get back to enjoying great school food that’s on offer. School food has changed over the years with food that wouldn’t be out of place on the high street and plant based meals to suit health and lifestyles. So if you haven’t tried them for a while please give it a go during the week, you will be pleasantly surprised.
