National School Meals Week (NSMW) is the one week of the year when the school catering industry celebrates all that is GREAT about school food. Each year has a different theme based on the issues that are relevant to the industry at that time.

School lunches have changed over the years, they now offer dishes seen in high street restaurant, with the added benefit of being nutritionally balanced. Menus contain more fresh, local food than ever before as evidenced on marketing materials sent home with pupils – you will find logos and accreditations about local and British produce.

NSMW 2021 will be held 8th – 12th November, more details will appear here soon. The week will contain events and campaigns you can get involved with at school, at home and on social media.
